Corner Cottage - Lp2 - Troutbeck Bridge

Our stay at Corner Cottage in Windermere was amazing. We stayed for a week and the location was perfect, close to the lakes and nearby towns. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group with four ensuite bedrooms, two living rooms, a dining room, and a conservatory. The garden with BBQ facilities was a lovely addition. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again.

During my recent trip to Windermere, I had the pleasure of staying at Corner Cottage - Lp2. Although I was only there for a transit stop, I found the location of the property to be incredibly convenient. The nearest airport was just 117 km away, making it a breeze to catch my connecting flight. Corner Cottage had an excellent double glazing system in place, effectively blocking out the noise from the main road that was quite busy and noisy. This meant that I was able to enjoy a peaceful and restful night's sleep without any disruptions.

While my stay at Corner Cottage was overall delightful, if I had to mention a minor downside, it would be the property being situated on a busy and noisy main road. However, this concern was quickly alleviated as the double glazing at Corner Cottage worked wonders in keeping the noise out, ensuring that it did not disturb me during my stay.

Ideal house, good Wi-Fi, helpful owner, convenient location, spacious and well-equipped.

Stayed at a lovely holiday home with spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and ensuite bathrooms. The entrance hall was perfect for all our coats and bags. Free WiFi was a plus.

Oh, how I adored the shower curtains. Said no one ever.

The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our large family group. We loved that each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom, and the king size bath for the kids was a bonus! the kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy for us to cook meals together. the location was also great, with a doable walk to the town centre and easy access to nearby attractions.

The oven in the kitchen was a bit challenging to use, as it cooked unevenly and required longer cooking times for meat. Our crumble ended up burnt on the top and raw inside.

Despite being near a main road, the house had excellent double glazing, so we didn't hear any noise inside. we found the house ideal for our needs and would happily stay here again.

While our stay was mostly positive, there were a few drawbacks. The shower curtains were not ideal, and we would have preferred doors instead.

The size and layout were fantastic, with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the dining room was perfect for our large group. The entrance hall was huge and convenient for all our belongings. The garden was lovely, with barbecue facilities. We were also thrilled to find off-road parking for up to four cars. the experience was absolutely fantastic, and we would definitely stay here again!

The location was excellent, within walking distance to Windermere and a short drive to beautiful hiking trails. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions. a great choice for our stay.
